Bull City Votes and our sibling project Durham Drives play a unique role in the voting ecosystem.

We work closely with people who face significant barriers to voting and are unlikely to vote without hands-on support tailored to their individual circumstances. We create a plan with each voter to: locate their ID or get an ID made, drive them to vote, orient them to the ballot, and/or accompany them into the polls. We do everything we can to ensure every voter can vote a regular (not provisional) ballot so their ballot counts.

We’re a nonpartisan group of volunteers deeply rooted in Durham, NC who have been working for over 20 years to ensure that every voice in our community is heard.
